Hyssop essential oil has antiseptic, antitoxic, astringent, bactericidal, diuretic, antispasmodic, carminative, expectorant, antipyretic, cardiotonic, hypertensive, antiallergic, diaphoretic, antihelminthic, emetic, sedative, resolving, wound healing.

Hyssop essential oil has a powerful adaptogen. It has a general strengthening effect on the body. It tones the weakened body and helps to recover from illness. It increases endurance and psycho-emotional stability, reduces weather dependence, optimizes the functioning of the cardiovascular system, eliminating the effects of ischemia and blood pressure lability associated with changes in weather conditions.

Stimulates the brain. Increases concentration, promotes clarity of mind. Gets out of depression.

Increases the functional activity of the stomach, increases appetite, stimulates digestion, promotes the breakdown of dietary fats. Has a mild laxative effect. Indications:

Effective for resorption of hematomas, bruises, healing of wounds and ulcers. Helps with weeping eczema, pustular and allergic dermatitis, wounds, edema, boils, hay fever, vasomotor rhinitis (allergic rhinitis).

It is used to eliminate warts, papillomas and corns.

How to use:

Undiluted hyssop essential oil can be used to lubricate warts and calluses. Hyssop essential oil in combination with lemon, cornflower or thyme essential oils in a 1:1 ratio enhances concentration, improves memory, and increases blood pressure. These compositions can be used for massage, baths and aroma lamps.

Enrichment of cosmetics: mix 2-3 drops of hyssop essential oil with 10 g (ml) of base (cream, tonic). Use for pustular skin diseases of staphylococcal origin.

Massage: Mix 3-5 drops of hyssop oil or one of the oil compositions with 1 tablespoon of any vegetable oil (almond, peach, jojoba, grape seed, etc.) or cream of your choice.

Baths: in a filled bath (37-38°C) add 3-5 drops of hyssop essential oil or one of the oil compositions previously mixed with 1 tablespoon of an emulsifier (milk, honey, sea or common salt). The duration of the procedure is 10-20 minutes.

Cold compresses: 4-6 drops of hyssop essential oil in a glass of cold water. Use for hematomas, bruises, eczema, dermatitis.

Hot inhalations: add 2-4 drops of hyssop oil to a container of hot water, cover with a towel and inhale the steam deeply for 5-7 minutes. The eyes must be closed.

Cold inhalations: apply 2-4 drops of hyssop oil on a napkin and inhale for 5-7 minutes.

Aromatization: add 4-6 drops of hyssop oil or one of the oil compositions to an oil burner filled with water and light a candle. The room will fill with fragrance.For children's rooms, 1-2 drops of oil are enough.

Combines: with oils of lavender, rosemary, myrtle, sage, geranium, orange, mandarin, lemon balm, rosemary, fennel. The dense and heavy aroma of hyssop is perceived more easily and pleasantly together with the complimentary lime oil.

Precautionary measures:

Refers to oils of strong action. Non-irritating, but moderately toxic due to the presence of pinocamphone. Do not use during pregnancy, epilepsy, high convulsive readiness, hypertension and psychosis.

The dosage should not be exceeded, as excessive doses of pinocamphone can cause convulsions similar to epileptic ones.
