Vitamin E Acetate (Tocopheryl Acetate)

A highly concentrated cosmetic ingredient containing >95% tocopheryl acetate blended with <5% macadamia seed oil as a carrier. Widely used in skincare, vitamin E acetate is a powerful antioxidant and skin-protective agent.

Chemical Information

Tocopheryl acetate is an ester of acetic acid and vitamin E (tocopherol). Compared to pure tocopherol, its hydroxyl group is blocked, which reduces acidity and increases stability. Upon contact with the skin, it gradually hydrolyzes and is absorbed.
