PRO-RETINOL (retinyl palmitate) - is the most delicately acting form of vitamin A used in cosmetics. Thanks to the ester form, it is possible to use vitamin A even with very sensitive skin. Pro - retinol under the influence of enzymes present in the skin transforms into retinol - the basic form of vitamin A.

Vitamin A is responsible for many physiological processes in the skin, regenerates the epidermis, strengthens collagen fibers, eliminates discoloration, improves skin tone and makes it smooth.

The main role of pro-retinol in daily use is to provide the skin with the necessary dose of vitamin A (skin nourishment). Vitamin A present in our skin is broken down daily by sunlight, the process of its reconstruction only through the diet is time-consuming (an hour - sunbathing - a week of regeneration, and this is with a diet rich in vitamin A). Hence, it is recommended to use vitamin preparations, especially in the spring and summer period, when the skin is exposed to increased exposure to ultraviolet rays.

When used sporadically, pro-retinol acts only on the outer layers of the epidermis - reducing its roughness and dryness (recommended for the care of dry and rough elbows and knees).

When used systematically, it begins to reach and work in the dermis - it firms it and gives it elasticity, which results in smoothing out fine wrinkles.

We use preparations with vitamin A at night. The recommended concentration of vitamin A in cosmetics is 1-2%. So we do not apply it directly to the skin, it can be an ingredient / additive to creams, and it dissolves perfectly in any oils.

In practice, it is enough to add a few drops to perfectly nourish the skin and replenish the deficiencies of vitamin A.

Pro-retinol is an orange fat, it changes from solid to liquid at room temperature (if the contents of the bottle crystallize, just warm it up with your hands).
