Sage Essential Oil

Sage oil (Oleum Salviae officinalis) is obtained by steam distillation from the flowering shoots of sage (Salvia officinalis L.). It is pale yellow or green-yellow in colour.

How to Use

• Oil Burner: 3–5 drops diluted with water in the burner

• Inhalations: Add 1–2 drops to hot water, inhale steam for 3–7 minutes with eyes closed

• Massage Oil: Dissolve 3–5 drops in 10 ml base oil (almond, olive, grapeseed)

• Bath: Add 3–5 drops mixed with 1 tbsp honey, milk, or salt to a filled bathtub (37–38 °C), duration 10–15 minutes

• Enhancing Cosmetics: Mix 2–5 drops with 10–15 ml cream, lotion, gel, or shampoo

Contraindications

Individual intolerance, hypertension, pregnant women, children under 6 years. Do not use undiluted.

Storage

Store in a tightly closed dark glass bottle at room temperature, out of reach of children. Avoid direct sunlight. Contains no colors, preservatives, or artificial fragrances.
