Monoi butter is made by macerating fresh Tiare flowers (Gardenia taitensis) in cold-pressed coconut oil for a minimum of two weeks. The result is a fragrant, solid butter at room temperature, white in color, with a pleasant, delicate floral scent.

Properties

• Softens and smooths the skin thanks to the natural presence of methyl salicylate

• Protects against environmental stressors and prevents moisture loss

• Provides long-lasting hydration, even more effectively than regular coconut oil

• Soothes sunburned or irritated skin, including post-sun exposure or solarium overuse

How to Use

• As a body moisturizer: Apply directly to dry or slightly damp skin, before bathing or during massage.

• Facial care: Warm a small amount between fingers and gently apply to the face, neck, décolleté, and eye area.

• Bath: Add a spoonful to warm bath water for a luxurious, lightly nourishing soak with a delicate tropical scent.

• Cosmetic additive: Mix into creams or lotions just before use.

• Hair mask: Apply to dry, unwashed hair and scalp, leave for approx. 30 minutes, then rinse with a gentle shampoo.
