Usage

Recommended concentration in cosmetic formulations: up to 30%

Yellow Clay is most commonly used for preparing masks and compresses. To prepare, mix the clay with water and/or oils such as castor oil or borage oil. After applying the mask, prevent it from drying out completely by misting or covering with a damp compress.

If added to liquid cosmetics, remember that the clay does not dissolve in water but forms a suspension; shake the product well before use.

Important:
Use only ceramic or wooden utensils and bowls when preparing masks.
Do not apply to fresh, open, or bleeding wounds.

Composition and Chemical Information

Yellow Clay appears as a yellow powder with particle size below 100 µm and a pH of approximately 9. It contains silica, iron oxide, aluminum oxide, magnesium oxide, calcium, sodium, potassium, and titanium oxides. It is dried at high temperatures to pharmaceutical purity.

Origin and Storage

Sourced from France, sun-dried, and mechanically crushed without chemical treatment.

Due to its hygroscopic nature, store Yellow Clay in a dry place at room temperature.
