The uniqueness of this oil is emphasized by the extremely low level of oxidation (rancidity), the high content of EPA and DHA acids, which contribute to the maintenance of the proper functioning of the brain and vision even with the consumption of 250 mg of DHA.
The oil used in production meets the most stringent guidelines. It has been approved by the FDA and the Norwegian Medicines Agency as a pharmaceutical substance, compliant with the requirements of the EU and US Pharmacopoeia and the GOED monograph, and received 5 IFOS stars.
Excellent quality and cleanliness
The raw material has the GOED membership mark, which is a benchmark for high quality standards. Participation in this organization imposes a number of requirements on the producer: fish used to obtain Omega-3 fatty acids must be wild and their catch must meet appropriate standards.
The oil is obtained only from small fish at the beginning of the food chain, which are practically not contaminated with heavy metals, and their standards are drastically lowered compared to other products with Omega-3 acids.
The MyVita® product has been tested in accredited laboratories, and the test results confirm that heavy metals are practically at the limit of detection.
A perfect form of triglycerides and natural production
Omega-3 fatty acids contained in the product are in the form of triglycerides and are free from synthetic admixtures - esters. The product contains over 90% of these compounds, which is an above average result, because usually their number in products is nearly even half as much.
The form of fatty acid triglycerides occurs naturally in food, therefore their supplementation is the most beneficial for the body and shows the greatest absorption.
The patented production process avoids the use of chemical agents used in other products, such as acetone, hexane or methanol.
Another form of Omega-3 in the form of esters, unlike triglycerides, is artificially obtained by synthesis using chemical compounds and then the so-called esterification.
When choosing supplements containing Omega-3, it is worth choosing the perfect form of triglycerides, because this form affects how much acids can actually be absorbed into the body by the digestive system. It may be nearly 400% higher than in the case of esters [1]. Naturally produced fish oil is pure fish oil and not a concentrate made by a chemical process.
Low totox level
During production, the product is subject to detailed control of the content of the so-called totox level, i.e. the level of fish oil oxidation (rancidity). The oil used in the capsules of the MyVita® brand has many times lower levels than allowed by, for example, the EU Pharmacopoeia. This result is an excellent factor confirming that the consumer is dealing with a high-quality product and guarantees the optimal level of EPA and DHA for the beneficial functioning of the body.
