Cistus contains polyphenols, which are natural antioxidant substances and support the human immune system.
The plant has a pleasant resinous aroma.
It tastes great with the addition of honey and/or lemon juice.
Suggested use:
Pour 1 heaped teaspoon of herb into a cup, pour over boiling water, cover for 5-10 minutes. Drink the freshly prepared infusion up to 3 times a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving.
