Calendula Flower Hydrolate / CALENDULA DISTILLAT BIO

INCI: Organic marigold distillate (Calendula officinalis) Fleur / Flower 99%, Water 1%.

Preservative system: Potassium sorbate, Sodium benzoate, Citric acid.

Hydrolate produced by steam distillation of marigold flowers.

Effect

Calendula hydrolate, has strong antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. It tightens the skin in a gentle way.

It soothes skin irritations, also those after sunbathing and tanning beds, after insect bites, etc. It is an antioxidant and prevents skin inflammation.

It is dedicated to problematic, dry and combination skin.

How to use

Hydrolat is an excellent raw material/base for the preparation of mists, micellar lotions, toning lotions. The recommended concentration for such cosmetic formulations is 30-100%.

It can be used as an additive/ingredient in creams/serums, an ingredient in hypoallergenic perfumes. In all formulations, it will contribute its antiseptic, soothing, and regenerative properties.
