Active Iodine Biologically Active Food Additive is used to prevent development of hyperthyroidism
and endemic goiter and also for treatment of inflammatory diseases of respiratory tract, bronchial
asthma, when eye disease (cataract, keratoleukoma,opacity of vitreous body and haemorrhage of
the retina) as well as when mycosis of conjunctiva and cornea. Important property of Active Iodine
Biologically Active Food Additive lies in its capability to prevent accumulation of radioactive Iodine
in the thyroid gland providing its protection from effect of radiation. The drug is recommended
as supplementary agent in following cases: to prevent thyroid gland diseases, for better
mental development and physical growth and development of children, for the persons living in
environmentally unfriendly regions and for radiation-damaged persons.
Content: Potassium Iodide (Iodine - 50 mg).
