Description
Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil)
Tea tree essential oil is a potent natural essence extracted from the leaves and branches of the Australian tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia). Known for its refreshing, spicy aroma and broad range of health and cosmetic benefits, tea tree oil is a staple in skincare, haircare, aromatherapy, and household applications.
Origin and Production
Tea tree oil (Oleum Melaleucae Alternifoliae) is obtained by steam distillation from the leaves and shoots of the tea tree, a member of the Myrtaceae family native to Australia. Aromatica sources its raw materials directly from Australia to ensure the highest quality.
Properties and Aroma
This pale yellow to pale green, lightly flowing oil has a distinctive spicy, fresh, cool, and balsamic scent with camphoraceous, nutmeg, cardamom, and eucalyptus notes.
