Clary sage essential oil restores strength. Effective for asthenia, neurasthenia, dyspepsia, bronchitis. Eliminates night sweats. Auxiliary with angina, stomatitis, laryngitis, asthma. neutralizes insect bites.

Obtained by hydrodistillation from the flowering herb clary sage. It has a specific spicy, cold smell reminiscent of ambergris.

Action

Indications

• for normal skin care;
• problematic skin, for healing wounds and cracks, pustular lesions;
• oily hair and dandruff;
• inflammatory processes in the oral cavity (to eliminate an unpleasant odor);
• acute respiratory diseases, bronchitis, pneumonia.

How to use

Sage oil blends well with lavender and juniper essential oils in a 1:1:1 ratio and is indicated for problematic skin and hair; with lemon, geranium, jasmine essential oils in equal proportions - to regulate hormonal status and in acute respiratory diseases.

Enrichment of cosmetics: 3-5 drops of sage oil mixed with 1-2 tablespoons of any vegetable oil (peach, almond, corn and others) or cream of your choice.

Baths: in a filled bath (37-38°C) add 7-10 drops of sage oil previously mixed with 1 tablespoon of an emulsifier (milk, honey, sea salt). 

Inhalations: Add 1-2 drops of sage oil to a container of hot water, cover with a towel and inhale the steam deeply for 2-3 minutes. The eyes must be closed.

Rinse: 2-3 drops of sage oil in 1 cup of warm boiled water. Combines well with tea tree oil (1:1). It is indicated for smokers with many years of experience and with periodontal disease.

Oil burner: add 2-3 drops of sage oil or one of the oil compositions to an aroma lamp filled with water and light a candle.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to sage. Pregnancy, lactation, epilepsy. Do not use with preparations containing iron and alcohol.
