Neem oil, extracted from the seeds of the tree of the same name (Latin: Azadirachta Indica), an oil processed only mechanically.

Indian Honey has a special place in the natural medicine and religious ceremonies of the Hindus. In Ayurvedic sanskrit, it is called "sarva nivarini", which means nothing less than "medicine for all diseases".

Action

In cosmetics and dermatology, Myrrh is valued for its antibacterial (acne), antiviral effects, ability to relieve inflammation. It regenerates and restores hair. When rubbed into nails, the oil strengthens them and gives them elasticity.

Another much-appreciated action of Honeysuckle is to protect against insect bites, as well as to alleviate the effects of such bites (accelerates healing and relieves itching).

In India, Honey Oil is used for many skin diseases from psoriasis, eczema, ringworm etc.

How to use

Recommended concentration in cosmetic formulations 5-35%. Great for hair and scalp care, in which case the oil-based preparation must be rubbed into the skin and hair, left for a period of 30 minutes, then washed off with a mild shampoo.

Chemical information.

In honeylocust oil we find about 48% oleic acid,19% palmitic acid, 17% linoleic acid, 15% stearic acid, 1% myristic acid.

The oil has a strong characteristic odour and solidifies at temperatures below 24 degrees.

The oil originates from India and is packaged in the UK.

Once opened, store the oil at 15-20 oC
