Ferri Saccharati Solutio (Iron Wine)

The secret of this remedy dates back to the 16th century. During experiments to create the elixir of youth, an alchemist of that time developed a preparation that had a very positive effect on the renewal and regeneration of blood cells. Since then, this remedy under the name "Iron Wine" has been produced and sold at one pharmacy, with the recipe closely guarded.

Under the unchanged name, the remedy has reached our times and continues to effectively support the treatment of various conditions related to immunity, anemia, and iron deficiency in the body. It is available at a pharmacy museum located in the old town of Lviv.

The name "Iron Wine" has nothing to do with common alcoholic wine, which is why it can be used by children, elderly people, and breastfeeding women.

During the USSR era, "Iron Wine" was widely used for patients affected by the Chernobyl disaster and was mass-purchased by Japanese tourists for radioprotection.

Today, "Iron Wine" is used to treat anemia caused by iron deficiency related to gastritis and peptic ulcer disease.

Use of "Iron Wine" supplements iron deficiency in pregnant and breastfeeding women, alleviating associated symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, weakness, and loss of consciousness.

The treatment improves overall blood morphology and is recommended for the prevention and treatment of anemia, especially in young pregnant women.

"Iron Wine" is well tolerated by patients and does not irritate the stomach lining when used properly.

Suggested use

Take 1 teaspoon once or twice daily after meals, diluted with water or natural acidic juice up to 50 ml (acidic juice enhances the remedy’s effect). The mixture should be drunk using a plastic straw.

Ingredients

Per 100 g contains: oxidized iron saccharate – 7.39 g; excipients: sugar, vanillin, 96% ethanol, purified water.
1 g contains 0.098 g ethanol (9.8%).

Contraindications

Not recommended for children under 3 years old.
