People with blood clotting disorders or taking preparations that reduce platelet aggregation (e.g. with acetylsalicylic acid) should exercise special caution when taking preparations with ginkgo. Additionally, ginkgo increases the effect of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, paracetamol and diuretics.
