The comfrey root contains mainly natural allantoin, large amounts of mucilage, sugars, pectin, tannins, alkaloids, organic acids, resin, carbohydrates and other active substances that accelerate the tissue regeneration process, the healing of irritation and skin regeneration.
The cosmetic additionally contains menthol and camphor. Allantoin accelerates wound healing, has an anti-inflammatory and astringent effect and accelerates skin regeneration.
