Description
Cinnamon Essential Oil
(Oleum Cinnamomi Zeylanici)
100% Natural | Country of Origin: Sri Lanka
Properties and Aroma
Cinnamon essential oil is like a warm blanket—its spicy, sweet aroma envelops the body and mind, relieving stress, worry, and cold. It is known for its uplifting effect on physical and creative energy, and, like other “prosperity” oils, it promotes financial well-being.
This oil is a light yellow to brown liquid with a rich, spicy scent, reminiscent of cinnamon and cloves. It is invigorating and warming, making it ideal for cold autumn and winter days.
Method of Production
Cinnamon essential oil is obtained via steam distillation from the bark and leaves of the Ceylon cinnamon tree (Cinnamomum zeylanicum Blume). TM Aromatica sources its raw material from Sri Lanka.
Cosmetic Benefits
Due to its strong composition, cinnamon oil must always be diluted before cosmetic use to avoid irritation. It is not recommended for sensitive skin.
-
Skin care: Tones the skin, enhances elasticity, nourishes mature skin, improves complexion, and has mild firming properties.
-
Anti-cellulite: Heats the skin and muscles, promoting circulation, useful in massage oils and peeling routines.
-
Hair care: Reduces split ends, stimulates hair growth, strengthens roots, adds shine and silkiness. May gently lighten hair.
Important: Cinnamon essential oil should always be diluted in a carrier oil or emulsifier (like milk, honey, or salt). It is not soluble in water.
