This soap combines ancestral Syrian know-how in the manufacture of Aleppo Soap with the beneficial properties of organic Damascus rose flower water, obtained by steam distillation of Damascus rose petals.

This Aleppo Soap, combined with Damascus rose water, with its astringent and regenerative properties, takes care of your skin whilst purifying it. It leaves skin with the fresh, floral perfume of Damascus rose.

This NAJEL Aleppo Soap with the floral water of organic Damascus rose takes care of your skin whilst purifying it. It is suitable for all skin types.

How to use

Rub the soap on wet skin, wash and rinse with water. For hair, NAJEL Aleppo Soap with Organic Damascus Rose makes an excellent alternative to liquid shampoo. Economical and easy to use, it cleans thoroughly and soothes the scalp.

History

The Al NAJJAR family has been making authentic Aleppo Soap since 1895 in keeping with ancestral artisanal know-how. This know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the Al NAJJAR family’s soap factory in the city of Aleppo in the North of Syria.

Each year from late November to late March, production of the world’s first hard soap starts over again following an unchanged process. The soaps then dry for at least nine months. During this period, the soaps oxidize on the surface and take on a yellow/beige color, whilst the heart of the soap retains the green color of the oils that make it.

NAJEL's Aleppo Soap is made from olive oil and bay laurel oil. Saponified olive oil is a powerful cleanser which nourishes, protects and softens skin. Bay laurel oil is known for its disinfectant and regenerative properties. The higher its concentration, the more the soap soothes irritated or problem skin (psoriasis, eczema, acne, dermatosis).

Made from traditional 200g Aleppo Soaps, this NAJEL compressed soap combines the beneficial properties of Aleppo Soap with those of organic Damascus rose flower water. The Damascus rose is a symbol of regeneration and its renowned toning and anti-aging properties have contributed to its success throughout the centuries. 

The Damascus rose, the flower of love par excellence, grows mainly in the Orient and was brought to Europe in the Middle Ages. It can have several different colors and has a subtle enchanting perfume.
